Lana Del Rey - Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd

Bartender is so good. My top3 from NFR!

There’s an awkward sense of “under development” like the song is never quite finished and then it cuts at the end, but it works in this “ethereal plane” as if watching her doing a rehearsal in an empty auditorium and talking about her life. It reminds me a lot of Bel Air and also the Tunnel material.

The melody is just strong as well. The “naivety” of the “Ha ha ha ha” acting as a hook… it’s pretty all mesmerizing. I know most of the album probably pushed it forward in some other directions but Bartender feels like its own little space. No surprise since she mentioned it long before we had news about the Album itself and wasn’t even sure of where it would land.

It turns out California's more than just a state of mind

It's killing me, sloooowlyyy

No but seriously this is one of the absolute best moments on the entire album!

I love how she delivers the title line in that faint falsetto, like she's still ashamed to admit it. An all timer (like every other original song on NFR! teebs).

*original* being the operative word here!
