Lana Del Rey - Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd

Yeah, some of the songs were old/leaked or just known about. Three of them (Nectar of the Gods, Living Legend and Cherry Blossom) even appeared to be ripped from YouTube and pressed to CD in the same LQ/compressed form as a YouTube upload too, haha. An unreleased collection available to stream/download officially would be a dream, but I hope the team doesn't pull a stunt like that again...

Wait so it was an error and those were pressed on the official cd release? Ddd

The unreleased collection will have to be at least 20 songs. There is an unbeliever amount of leaked content. And I hope we we get AKA on top of that

With the amount of times it was specifically stated the upcoming album includes only brand new music, a Yes To Heaven-esque project makes sense I suppose.
I was just thinking the label would want to save unreleased songs in general for “future” when she’s not actively making new music anymore for any reason.

I feel like she's been working on an unreleased collection for awhile because a 2018 remaster of Come When You Call Me America leaked years ago from the last time she floated the idea.
Somehow I missed this completely - please tell me it was the superior version with the trumpet. One of her best unreleased songs ever

I think it was confirmed that Lana had no hand in the remaster, the producer just did it for fun.

Non-ironically I think "My pastor told me..." is the most affecting bit of the song. Something about the combination of the pre-chorus' melody and her weary but hopeful delivery just hits right

"The Grants" is lovely, but it's for sure my least favorite of the tracks we've heard so far. It will grow on me, I bet. But "A&W" and the title track were pretty instant.

I don't think it was an error, just a lack of care and effort from whoever did it. I guess Lana wanted to include those songs on the album, but for whatever reason the original recordings weren't available to her/her team in time for the CD/vinyl to be produced ahead of release so they resorted to ripping copies from YouTube or finding some other LQ/compressed versions online.

Of course, this being Lana, all three of those songs have leaked in lossless quality anyway, so at least fans have something to update their digital libraries with - but the same can't be said for the physical editions!

The way Taco Truck morphs into some orchestral trap remix of Venice Bitch and still manages to sound good. This is rivaling Get Free as her best closing track. The few bits of the album I listened to really showcase her voice in a new way, it's beautiful.

I'll admit, I've sort of drifted to and from Lana over the years, but she absolutely has her hand planted firmly on my neck with this new release.

I have some post-Norman catching up to do...

Same. I know I've probably missed some winning stuff but I was very much "ummmm this is one of the best songs I've ever heard what the FUCK" when I first heard A&W. Can't wait. I haven't even listened to The Grants yet as I'm trying to wait until the full LP.
