If she gives us anything like Angel Olsen or Mitski did with their latest country-inspired albums I will be over the moon. Still quietly hoping that we receive a late summer Golden Hour-esque moment.

My biggest wish is that it consists of all/mostly new, original songs. I'd be fine with 1-2 covers, but no more than that, Lizzy!

Jack produced a great (and varied!) country album with The Chicks in Gaslighter so I don’t think there’s any cause for concern about him working on a country project with Lana.

Thank you! It is like she did not release all those albums that are not country, and all those songs that fall under hip hop, trap, adult contemporary in her supposed country albums.

I just don't happen to like country music and as a fan of her music, i wouldn't want a full blown country album from her (and i'm really not vibing with her latest cover). Sometimes it really is personal taste nn.

If the covers are quirky and obscure it's fine - like Doin Time. Take Me Home, Summertime, Misunderstood are very mainstream and known for me to enjoy. She'll cover We Are The World next.
