Lana Del Rey - The right person will stay (May 21)

Flipside, yes! And put it on streaming. And celebrate Honeymoon by avoiding it dd. I’m sorry but it’s my worst LDR album.

Edit to add another thing. Next Best American Record has never been a favorite of mine until the other day when I realized it would be a killer opening in a stadium setting.

Wasn’t this just “Bitter Sweet Symphony” mashed up with “National Anthem”?

That’s what stans have come to accept but we never got a definitive word as far as I’m aware ddd.

I have a small theory it could be some sort of medley, but that’s strictly wishful thinking from that Festival d’Ete in Quebec where she soundchecked For K Part 2 along with Arcadia, Black Beauty and Norman Fucking Rockwell. 2 of these ended up on the set list, but they’re shortened and back to back, but before Summertime Sadness.

Anyway, National Anthem and Bittersweet Symphony would be a slay, the kind of cute mix-up like the Cherry + Scarborough fair outro.

I actually really like a lot of her music, but the thoughts of seeing her in a stadium? Not a chance. I’d see her in small venues, but I just don’t see how her music and persona really translates to a gigantic setting like that.

Yeah and also I really would expect more production from her, fireworks notwithstanding.

The whole thing about the Zoom session with thousands of people at the Seaside Motel....I'm so confused fff. I didn't know what the speech was for at first and started to be even more confused with some of the tangents it went on. Her mind.
