Late 90's Dance Divas Rate: WINNER ANNOUNCED

Bet you will be glad to take part in a rate where people won't be calling for Amber's head with every elimination, will make a nice change!

You don't know the half of it! There's two 10+ songs here.

I've never played any of these albums so I'm excited for discoveries. I'm especially interested in the Gloria Estefan one because when I ran the Women of the 80's rate, I made alot of discoveries of songs I kind of new that told me she has style to her music that speaks to me. Hopefully it transitions over to this album because I don't think I know any of the songs by looking at the names.

You are in for a treat with the Gina G and Tina Cousins albums, wish I could listen to them again for the first time!

We all know If You Could Read My Mind would have stormed to victory!

Quick question - I've made a start this morning and wondered if we have to rate album versions or whether we can rate club remixes on the CD singles? This will make the difference between a few songs getting a 9 or a 10 from me...
You can either rate the original or the radio/single edit if that’s applicable to the song.

Ooh so if you wanna rate Killing Time ‘99 instead of the original then that’s fine!

God, I remember stanning hard for She Moves back in the day. I legit thought they would become the next big thing, but like all great things it didn't last very long dddd.

The album had BOPS!

Oh, honey... Honey.

Sometimes I like to imagine I'm living in a world where all of these wannabe Spice Girls-types of groups would have been massive successes.

Y'all I am combing through Billboard magazine scans from 1995-1999 to find #content for the reveals and it is a trip. So many memories coming back. The laser disc sales chart! Sam Goody! Cassette tapes in boxes that open like cigarette packs/ decks of cards! THE WALL! Since I'm going in relatively chronological order, it's also amusing to watch them realize how technology is changing the game. One columnist actually wrote (paraphrasing) "I finally broke down and got an email address" and there was an ad campaign that read (paraphrasing again) "Can't tell the difference between DVD and BVD?" (BVD being an underwear company) Oh and don't get them started about this "Amazon.com" starting to sell things other than books!!

EDIT: Bahahahaha I just got to
