You're saying you don't understand people have a different opinion?

Well that's a given, but obviously people want you to explain said opinion so we can understand. I'd like to know why someone would find everything we've got so far better than the absolute wonder that is Echo.

I Got You is average, this entire album is shaping up to be a massive non-event. It's a shame all of her talent has shaped up to so little when let of the leash. Giving Syco credit where it was due they could at least get her to be involved with decent material.

I explained why in previous post

Actually no, you said that. I don't believe I've ever said that. I'm saying that I just find that particular opinion strange.

Strange because it isn't your opinion? Because that's where opinions are for otherwise we would agree. It's like stating the obvious with the intention to make your opinion superior.

Are you kidding me? No, not strange because it isn't my opinion, Jesus. Strange because you yourself don't seem to know how you feel. In one post something is flawless, and in the next you admit that the production could be better and it probably would have been better if more money had been spent on it.

So, I don't find it strange that you like the tracks. They're perfectly inoffensive songs. I find it strange that you'd go as far as to say it's her best album though, given that there doesn't appear to be anything on this record that can come close to rivalling the highs of her previous albums. It's just odd.

In my opinion.

And I wouldn't take 'flawless' too literally on the internet though. I bet the other poster didn't even move a face muscle when he was "screaming". I Got You is an amazing song, so are the others. Can the production be better? Yes it can.

Is it better than Echo? Most of the songs I do prefer over Echo. Because of the production? Not necessarily, but these songs do make me jam along. Plus, I can connect more to these songs with my personal life than with Echo. It's not about how many #1's songs an album has that defines a good album to me. It's more than that.

I think I Got You is a solid song, but once again the production is pulling it down. I said it in a post a couple pages back, Toby Gad has had a couple of great moments in his career, but he isn't shining here.

I think songs like Fire Under My Feet, Power and I Got You etc all have the potential to be brilliant tracks but in the hands of other producers, not that I don't like them in their current state because I do, but they could have been so much bigger and better.

Really this is where Island and Def Jam should have stepped in, they let Leona create her songs, but they should have had them sent to other producers imo, Toby Gad could still be the executive producer of the album, but not just be his productions basically.

I still reckon my rankings will be, 1. Echo 2. Spirit 3. I Am 4. Glassheart

Question: is Island purposely failing Leona or is Leona failing herself? "I Am" should be renamed, "I Am Not Sure How to Make a Proper Comeback".

Answer: It's the public. They still acknowledge she's a huge talent but she doesn't motivate them enough to go and buy her music in droves. She's old news..It's not even Cowell. He tried making her interesting with the covers album, an original album didn't work either.

Leona must stop interview after interview talking about her Cowell split it's like she doesn't have anything else interesting to use to promote this.
