It's not bad but everything that's come out after the album has felt a bit inessential teebs. He could've mined Montero for a few more singles if this was what he had waiting in the wings instead.
This is getting massive radio updates, it seems to have a deal. They're definitely really pushing it. I'm interested to see if it grows into a proper hit for him, but I'm still struggling to get into it.
I just realised that Cirkut produced both songs and that's why the song is serving Warrior production vibes. The whole drumless chorus with a drop was a moment back then.
I am liking but not loving this and I hate that because I want him to destroy my h*** and annihilate my <censored> and then just go to town on it like <redacted>.
Last night’s show was short but still cute and you could tell he was really enjoying himself. I was hoping for an energetic crowd but it was weirdly… tame. After being in the thick of Gaga and Charli shows the bar is pretty high (let’s get jumpin’). As expected the songs went off, his dancers were incredible, and the production was nice. He pulled a little kid on stage during Star Walkin’ to dance with him, which was adorable!
Only criticism: whoever was working the spotlight could not keep it on him for more than half the time, and the opener was literally just some guy playing one minute snippets of songs to hype the crowd on an HP laptop…
PS
I was close enough for him to bend over the stage so I could *** his sweaty ***.
