Could It’s Not Fair possibly be about Mark Ronson?
As far as I know, they were never romantically linked in the press. However, I don’t see Lily playing her music for an ex who she ended on bad terms with. Who would she play her a track she wrote with Greg Kurstin for? Mark, for one. If she played the track for him, he might have thought it was just for artistic feedback. If she played it for a non-collaborator ex with no business reviewing her work, that ex might cop on to the criticism more easily with no professional pretense.
And, Lily has said they’re extremely close. He’s considered quite handsome and a bit vain, so he might able to get away with being a low-effort lover and not realize it.

She posted a trailer for her new tv show on her insta and someone posted asking why she wasn’t making music anymore and she replied “because it’s an utterly shot time to be a writer”. Makes me think music is very much on the back burner now.
Damn. I was really, really, really hoping we'd get another album even if she didn't promote it or whatever.
I think she'll be back but just when she has something worth saying. She never seems like the type of artist who'll put out an album just because.

Originally she was rushing the album to get out of her deal then they dropped her, I think that’s why she doesn’t care anymore.
I'm a Sheezus fan.
Her releasing her best album, an album about divorce, the day my marriage ended means nothing could ever top No Shame for me. It was the soundtrack to a lot of tears but also helped me process and get through a dark time.
