'Don't Say', 'Turn Around', and 'Do I Like U' are pretty much 10/10 songs, to go along with 'All Them Boys' and 'Stop Me Cold', which are also perfect. She really is something else, geez.

I need to give this a full listen, it has just downloaded!

I'm on the fence with this girl but I'll give the EP a go!

She has to be the next big thing. Dont Say is one of the best tracks of this year so far.

Nicola Roberts brought her pillows and quilt to listen to Liz, and thinks she's really cool, so maybe she is.

Good to hear the new songs now.

Just had a very brief skip through the EP and it all sounds very pleasant. I think she could fit very well on a house single to raise her profile in the UK, her voice would glide effortlessly along something like that.

So the EP is all kinds of amazing. "Y2K" is the clear highlight though.

Lord, I need to hear the stuff she's released under her 'Liz' persona - what I've heard sounds so damn good.

Ughh this mixtape is incredibly amazing! "Don't Say" is my shit.
She really is one of the most promising newcomers for me.

I'm not entirely sold on her, unfortunately. But I listen to the EP again and decide once and for all.

The EP artwork is so gross (not her just the design), hate it, however the actual EP is brilliant. I'm enjoying it way more than the new Katy B album anyway!

I think the design fits the sound so well.

All of it sans the Tyga track has grown on me. It's such a modern update on that 90s sound, but I love it.

...and this is why I come to Popjustice. Love this.

I'm so glad Liz has a thread, love her. All Them Boys is a tune and a half.

'Don't Say' is probably her best song - the middle 8 alone is absolutely life-changing. "Remember how it used to beeee...."

  16. Re: Liz - General Discussion (First Pop Star signed to Mad Decent!)

'Don't Say' is INCREDIBLE. I'd venture to say her best song too.

It's a shame she can't really dance it would add to her early 00's cred.

  18. Re: Liz - General Discussion (First Pop Star signed to Mad Decent!)

I almost think her not being the sharpest dancer makes it even better.

  19. Re: Liz - General Discussion (First Pop Star signed to Mad Decent!)

I think LIZ totally 'worked the camera' in this music video, and her dancing is super charming. The choreography is more 90s house music video than *NSYNC anyway. And so is the song.

    Video's up on VEVO!:
