Yeah, I wish I could go back in time and experience it again for the first time. It's one of those albums that I remember just being OBSESSED with when it first came out, and still love it all these years later.
Happy 75th birthday ma'am! https://variety.com/2021/legit/colu...ge-cynthia-erivo-just-for-variety-1234927222/ *plays Results to celebrate*
HBD Queen! I spent a lot of time over the last year diving into her discography (outside of Results obv) and there's a lot of real gems. Her voice on her early records was really pure and spectacular
I’ve got into Results again lately. A Pet Shop Boys album sung by Liza Minnelli, and yet somehow she manages to make it her own and seem believable. Quite a good interview, that chronicles a typical recording session for the album: https://www.stevepafford.com/lizapsb/
Have just had to play Results again this morning, and it's an masterpiece in class all round. What an record!
It's one of my favourite albums of all time! It's somehow both a Pet Shop Boys album AND a Liza album. Losing My Mind has to be one of the greatest pop songs ever, right?
