I figured I'd take the risk and make a unique thread for Loreen, so hopefully her greatness might reach beyond the Eurovision subforum.



"Sober" is the new single from Loreen, who came fourth in Sweden's Idol show in 2004 (you may know her fellow competitor, Darin).

My Heart is refusing me was stunning.

This is a little less interesting but has the same atmosphere and i'd love to drive right after sunset, when it's getting darker, with a whole album by Loreen, it'd be perfect.

Any info about the album? She might even wait and try this year's Melodifestivalen and then release it.

"She's The One" sounds stunning as well. I WANT AN ALBUM, but I've heard no news that there will be one.

I get the feeling she's gonna try for Melodifestivalen again next year. Meaning that there'll probably be an album in March.

And after this prediction has turned out to be right...

New single Euphoria, straight to the Melodifestivalen final.
Wonderful performance and a slightly clubbier song.

Any news about the album? I guess after the final they will be willing to release it, considering My heart is refusing me and Sober are back into the iTunes top 10.

I asked her a little bit about the album a couple of months back here; http://www.scandipop.co.uk/?p=8048

She says it's already done, and it's now up to the record label as to when it gets released.

They'd be mental not to release it after the contest! There's so much goodwill towards her after last night's performance.

They're just waiting for an opportunity. This is it.

I'll just be devastated when triong to order it CDON won't let me sign up saying that my zipcode is incorrect.

Thank the pop lords for this forum, "My Heart Is Refusing Me" is beyond amazing. I just saw a few of her Idol performances and shes now just a whole different artist and I love it.
