Loreen - "Gravity" + General Discussion

And how did that do for it dd
It went number 1 in the UK and 3 in the US? What's your point?

Compared to Kim Petras who also had a huge smash with Unholy but waited far too long and the album did terrible.

I just don't want Loreen to go through all this effort to end up in exactly the same place she was in where she can't even chart in her own country. If that is genuinely the place she wants to be then so be it and admit that music releases are going to be sparse rather than making promises.

If it was up to me, it should be Tattoo push in May and June, a summer single in July alongside an album announcement for release in November, pre-save song in September, and a deluxe album re-release in February in time for Melfest and the next Eurovision cycle.

I don't understand why it's taking so long in between releases, those days are gone. Look at Miley, Flowers was released in January, album in March. Releases need to be consistent otherwise everything falls flat.
I am sure the success of both Tattoo and Padam Padam have shocked both camps...let's face it both songs are incredible and both Queens give it that something special on each of the tracks. This has possibly thrown all their plans out of the water.

KM has her Tension album released in September and all Padam remixes or another single or two is in the pipeline Loreen whilst kudos to her and her team on the huge success of Tattoo and with how quickly tour dates were in place makes me hopeful Loreen and team have a plan in place where we will get many AMAZING surprises this year.

Love your release schedule...as July is heading towards the end I am expecting anything new until August by which point your plans works perfectly.

I will say one thing, if I do not hear Paper Light at the London show in its original format I will be pissed off! The Revisited version is fantastic but not a patch the original. Neon Lights too better be performed.

There are too many little managers in the Loreen fanbase considering she will do the opposite of what you want. Embrace it. What we get is what we get
Of course we will get what we get and I am sure it will be incredible but come on...we are only dreaming and hoping.

One of the reasons I adore Loreen so much is she does not pander to the bollocks for the record industry and creates when she feels the need.

As a massive fan who gets her music (lyrics, delivery & all), her performances and her positivity, I just want the world to know just how special her talent is. Finally, even after the success of Euphoria and Heal the world is awake.

We are in 2023 and sadly the world of music is what it is...if you don't move quickly exploiting all avenues you are quickly forgotten...Loreen has much more to teach us through her music, interviews and principals.

Finally got round to ordering the CD single + signed artcard! Surprised it hadn't sold out by now.

I'm sure this has been asked before but is there anywhere you can buy/get hold of the "Ride" CD? Seems impossible now.

Really looking forward to new music - she'd be crazy not to capitalise on the success of "Tattoo" - she deserves to be an artist with a true long term career beyond the couple of big hits.

8 weeks in the UK top 20 is massive. Although the drop from 20 to 60 this week is steep, her team should be releasing remixes every few weeks to keep it going and maintain interest before the next single just like Kylie. That being said, the steady flow of press is great and I feel like everyone is warming to her much more this time around and she seems like she is having far more fun with it.

Can’t wait for the tour later this year, one or two new singles before then I assume. Usually with her I prepare myself for delays but surely they have to be preparing something massive with all of this momentum and interest.
