Loreen - "Gravity" + General Discussion

Tour and then album is truly a choice… but we do have the Olafur project earlier in the year (I assume) and then ANOTHER summer festival tour so she’s booked and busy.

I am also going to guess (dangerous with Loreen) that she will perform new songs on the tour. The problem with that is if she performs a version of the songs on tour but then releases a different version on the album which disappoints people nn

Did she get dropped by Universal again?
She left them at the start of the year. She’s with a new smaller label now but I do sometimes see some regional Polydor and Universal labels posting about her for some reason

Virgin is now involved because Promised Land Records uses their platform for distribution

He/him
I'm interested to hear her possibly perform new material when I see her in March, but I'm nervous that she'll go full on self-indulgent Loreen and perform long, indistinguishable mixes of tracks that just kind of blend together. I do find those kind of mixes of even her biggest hits a real struggle to get through, but throw in songs that I've never heard before, and it could be tricky.

Tbh I honestly really think that this will happen and maybe at most, with the tour she’ll have 1 new song to perform so… Let’s not get our hopes up too much.

She was incredible last night and they also brought Johnny Logan out on stage to finally have photos together as the undisputed King & Queen of Eurovision!!!

I was shocked when Euphoria opened the show. Every year she’s been there they’ve closed with it. We were late getting there due to the traffic as there was a football game in the stadium across the road too!

We were running to the Ziggo Dome thinking “ok, we’ll probably miss the first 1 or 2 songs”

Thankfully we weren’t the only ones, thousands of us were running late and the concert started 20 minutes late. I would have been gutted to miss her opening

Was dancing at DJ Station in Bangkok last night and the DJ spun two Loreen songs (well, remixes) in relatively quick succession - Forever then Is It Love. Pretty surreal and nobody else knew it (to be honest it took me a second too)

Just listened to this for the first time in a few months
