Loreen - "Tattoo" + General Discussion

I'm curious what she is cooking. She teased a dark album, then Walk with Me came out which has this dark electronic sound but it seems she switched to a different style based on the sound of her performances this year. Either way I'm excited for some new music, it's time now :)
In my fantasy, she'll perform her new single tonight on this TV show and then it'll be put on the streaming services at midnight

But I'm expecting it's going to be another Euphoria and My Heart is Refusing Me remix

Frustratingly, I think the ‘perfect’ Paper Light would be somewhere in between the two. The verses definitely have more interesting production on Revisted, but it lacks the euphoric pop heights of the original.

I was thinking last night, I'm interested to understand why Loreen's sound veered so much for Ride. It seems the music she was making before and after (even as soon as the Nude extended play) is very similar but Ride is such an outlier (although still very very good).

Was it a label decision? Loreen herself? Her producer at the time? Manager?

Also... she rarely, if ever, performs songs from the album excluding Fireblue which I consider an old song.

Same, it's all shades of catchy dark pop to me?
Intesting, I've always heard it as being more raw, "real music" with "real instruments" and chill compared her usual sound that's very electronic, synths, 808s, powerful etc. Just compare the original Jupiter Drive to the one released.

I still think it's an incredible album, Dreams is one of my faves. I remember getting to the end of my first listen and I got a bit emotional on the strings version of 71 Charger.

I can't describe how excited I am for her next album/project! Sa Myckett Battre is just the beginning and with her new manager, I think things are going to be much better.

I always thought it was the music she really wanted to make
