Yeah that's always a risk, especially nowadays when people can see it a million times a day on TikTok.Is there a risk of this peaking too soon by the time the contest actually comes around? She's obviously incredible but I feel like this song and performance in particular has entered the world of casuals and social media a lot more than other entries in previous years.
Well it hasn't done everything it needs to yet. The song's sole purpose is to win Eurovision, so a focus on that seems sensible.Honestly the song has already done everything it needs to do. A second Eurovision win would be phenomenal, but lets not take away from the record-breaking success it's having already! I think there's always a case of wanting to break the next record, get the next number one, etc but after 'Statements' I know NONE of us would have dreamt this moment happening.
The song's sole purpose is to win Eurovision
That's pretty rude. My life is pretty fulfilled, thanks all the same.Living like this must be so sad though
I thought about this too. But today some extra time might be an advantage. Look at Snap, if it had been out a couple of months earlier, maybe it would have its TikTok moment during Eurovision and it could have changed everything. And these days once a song peaks, there's a good chance it sticks around there for weeks. Is there a risk of this peaking too soon by the time the contest actually comes around?
It's lovely to see her streams more than double since the release of Tattoo. They were around 1 million before and are now at 3.47 million.Just noticed Tattoo has overtaken Statements to become her 3rd most streamed track ever on Spotify, with 12m streams. Getting to that amount 2 months before the actual competition is huge. It'll easily overtake My Heart is Refusing Me (17m) to be 2nd to Euphoria.
Absolutely. Euphoria was certainly a moment, a cultural shift, a subsidence of depression....but I rarely use it dddd, the likes of Paper Light, My Heart Is Refusing Me, Crying Out Your Name, I'm In It With You have had their heels on my neck from the moment I first heard them.I prefer this to Euphoria.
Body is like the ultimate workout song. If you haven't sweated to that song, you're missing out!I like all her songs but I'm quite partial to Body off that random tringle EP she released.
