The standard artwork is great.

I don't sync my Apple Music Library with my local files so I was never gonna be one to be able to download the record. But from what it seems - especially since the last record was so enjoyable - sounds like she's chill building a good record even more than the last. Very excited to see how it goes.

What happened exactly? Did they put the whole album on every online store by mistake on Friday and removed it on Saturday?
It was only Apple Music.

Seems like it was a pre-release gone wrong as it was labelled that way with the release date being May 23, but the whole album could be streamed in full rather than just the first single Confession.

Didn't think I'd read anyone rubbing it in: I've loved reading people's impressions, not least because they are so positive.

And the mistake was by her team. They sent out unlisted youtube uploads as well, so it's hopefully all being looked at. It's quite obvious this is a big album for her and I've not had any other impression from the folks sharing their thoughts on what they heard than that they were doing so responsibly and sympathetically to Louise's efforts.

Was able to hear the snippet of Love Me More before it was taken down. A smash!

The Deluxe cover needs to get a physical release. I want this on vinyl.. Simply Gorgeous!

Like many other 90's Legacy artists, she could have easily done something half arsed, MoR or a covers album after Strictly. Instead, she put her heart & guts into something truly outstanding.
I'm glad she's continued to throw away the rule book and not played safe.
You really have a good point there! As fans we can be VERY happy that she surprise us with new material! By the way: does anyone know if Naked, Woman In Me and Elbow Beach are also planned for vinyl?

Confession is easily the best thing here, but I’d say overall it’s her strongest album. Confession feels like it’s doing something different, whilst the rest of the first half of the album does feel a little more… basic? Tracks 2-4 sound like they could fit on Tension/Tension II, which could be a positive or negative depending on who you ask nn. Only Dancer has the same kind of Robyn-lite vibes as Kylie’s Hold On To Now, but with a chugging synth in there too.

Track 6 & 7… oh she’s actually taking us to the dancefloor. Follow Me probably my favourite. Get Into It is SO Throb. 8-10 are a little more mid-tempo but are definitely more unique than 2-4.

Nothing on here vaguely close to a ballad/low-tempo! If you enjoyed Heavy Love there’s no way you’d be disappointed with this.

Great review, this is all sounding very, very promising.

Yesss Follow Me is so good. This and Onpy Dancer are my next singles pick.
