I Wish is fine, its worse crime is that it's completely forgettable.
Oh my goodness how did I not know it wasn't just confined to that one Christmas themed performance?
Yep - it’s no “Head & Heart”-level earworm, though my basic white cig ass is bopping to this nonetheless. The lack of taste jumped out.
A snippet of Definition (a song from the album) has leaked, apparently it was intended for a Calvin Harris Funk Wav Bounces, Vol. 2 project but it was scrapped (and so would be on the album with different production if she can ever get it out...).
Track 1 is Overthinking, track 2 is Crying on the Dancefloor produced by StarGate and track 3 is Let Love Go co-written by RAYE, MNEK and SG Lewis.
Are they waiting until this campaign dies completely to release Good Luck?!
There's also a cover of Cyndi Lauper's Time After Time for the McDonald's Christmas advert being released on Friday.
M2 sounds kind of faceless.
The first 2 tracks did nothing for me, but when 3 started playing I sort of ascended.
Oh no baby no
All 3 of those sound awful.
All of them sound like demos, but I know they aren't which is unfortunate.
Overthinking is the best one by a mile. But that’s not saying too much.
This era sucks xx
Is the album good to go or is she still recording?
It all sounds painfully generic but boppable. I'm fine with that but the long term Mabelnators... I feel for y'all.
Is it just me or does she literally sound like a different person in every new song/snippet?
I actually like all those snippets, guess I'm certified Mabelnator now.
Overthinking and Let Love Go both sound boppy. It all sounds very sparkly dance-pop and the vox are sounding good. I'm still in!
She's a terrible popstar nn.
