Madonna - 15th Album

Anyway, Vulgar strikes that same set of pleasure receptors that Give It 2 Me and Bitch I’m Madonna strike.

Mother devoured this, and I have no choice but to stan.
“Give It 2 Me” and “Bitch I’m Madonna”, sweeties, I’m so sorry… nn

Do we know if Madonna will appear on the music video? I think she won't (what is a shame) since she's missing on the teasers that Sam posted.

Not a fan of Popular or Vulgar (neither are very good), but if it gets her name out there again and leads some of the 'kids' to her glorious back catalogue and gets her back in the groove for another album then I guess they'll have been worth it.

It's so... Todrick Hall? Vom.
I totally get what you mean by this and it’s made me dislike it slightly…

Really liking Vulgar but more for the production than anything- I’m loving the sounds. Like someone said earlier though, it won’t have much longevity.
Pretty sure it’s just a fluff track that she’s not really that invested in.

There are some elements to Vulgar that I find quite enjoyable, especially in terms of production/vocal production, but overall it's more annoying than boppable. It sounds like a Drag Race contestant's single, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but in this case... it kind of is.

I think that the decision to release this now, during what seems to be the most uncertain Pride month in quite some time, during a period in which it feels like a not insignificant amount of extremely loud and hateful people want to see us as a community cowering in fear or worse, and coming from two queer people who, particularly after the last year, have every right to be as defiant and perhaps even a bit "cringe" about it as they please, was 100% intentional, and for that reason alone I think it's an incredibly important song.

This is worded better than I can put it. It feels like such an important song and as dumb as it sounds, I feel oddly safe? with it out there. Like I am not alone, Sam and Madge have my back.

Madame X was quite a serious record - so I'm here for Madonna releasing tracks that are just outright camp bops.

I too hear 'Eurovision' and 'Drag Race' influences in Vulgar but that's where we are right now in terms of pop culture. It's no bad thing.
