Madonna - Collab era + 15th Album

Yeah I agree I don’t think Madonna would put out an album of “reworking”, just like we’ve never had a covers, orchestral or Christmas album, I really hope it stays that way.
I think a lot of the releases we’ve had over the 12 months are her experimenting with the streaming era.

Didn't she say she would be down to record an orchestral album? I wanna say it was during her Reddit Q&A. I think that could be cool at some point.

I have a vague recollection of this as well. I think it might be the only way we ever end up getting a sequel to Something To Remember, and I wouldn't be entirely opposed. The orchestral arrangement of The Power of Good-bye in the Vanity Fair video was gorgeous

I’ve not heard that Q&A but if she did I’m sure she’d do a proper job than a few I’ve heard that simply just feature a violin and cello. The Cranberries did a good job with Something Else.

I came across this AI generated Madonna and Michael Jackson Halftime Show where they sing eachothers songs. Quite surreal and a fun listen:

Good idea like the Hits Reworked/Ghosts of download Blondie released a while back. Although indont think that flew off the shelves
Yeah but Ghosts Of Download is not a good album (thank the Pop Saints we got Pollinator after).

A half greatest (or biggest off tour setlist) and half new songs album would be interesting.
It's a Greatest Hits Tour, but it's also Madonna, and I expect one new song somewhere on the setlist.

But if she drops a new album then I want a tour of that, so I am conflicted.
That would be strange, not touring on the back of a new album. I mean, how could you do a Greatest Hits and new material and call it a Greatest Hits Tour? It would basically be all her other tours - a mix of new and old.

Nah. I mean I think we’re probably still a year out at least from getting an album, but I do think it’s obvious something more than just a few tracks for a compilation is in the works (unless she’s taking her sweet ass time, which she’s known to do lately).

She recorded original material with Sickick in October of last year

And she’s been in the studio with Mike Dean on and off for much longer than that (working on the Finally Enough Love compilation mainly, I’m sure), then there was Honey Dijon’s album press release from November confirming she had worked with M as well, and of course now we have Max Martin in the mix.

She may be recording studio backing tracks for the tour. Isn’t that what everyone does, especially if your voice gives out?

I'm not sure I need to hear Madonna with a grill in singing Substitute For Love over an orchestra.
SCREAM. I literally laughed out loud reading this, because I can absolutely hear it. And yes @Friday Night we absolutely love her, we’re just keeping our expectations in check. That is the key to happiness, after all.

Not with well known producers. She’s not calling up Max Martin and Honey Dijon for tour tracks. And Sickick's posts says they were working on original material.

Half of these posts… do y’all even like Madonna?

Some of them pretend to.

When she uses Bob as the emcee for the tour and carries that on into the album and makes it into a queer club non-stop concept record with Bob interludes between the songs.... yup! YUP!

When one of the interludes is Bob and Monet arguing outside of Barracuda about whether Monet was rich in St. Lucia and M interrupts asking for a cig..... hire me @Madonna

A trance meets jungle-album would be a dream... with some cute slower moments like "little star".

Little Star by way of Sia's Exemen mix of Little Man perhaps. I hear something purring.... wait that's my-

A lot of the girls have tried to do the 'all different types of dance music in history on one project' but Madonna could actually pretty authentically achieve it. Take us from disco to 80s pure pop to new jack swing to Chicago house to trance to jungle to garage to late 00s EDM to dubstep to tropical (if we must) to hyperpop.
