I’m kinda shaking because even if this is “THE greatest HITS tour!!! Like a Virgin!! Lucky Star!!!!” I just know she’ll throw one curve ball and at least 2/3 minor hits. And the way she’s been exploring her back catalogue for the movie research and so on…

Fuck Karen and Sarah who paid for Express Yourself, perform the original Burning Up demo!!!

Also while on topic of Stage layout, the way the Pits are placed between catwalks (?), I wonder if she….. might….. walk between people to arrive some other point? I know it sounds totally impossible with her but the way she interacted on Madame X and the way it looks like a very private section…

My thinking was the runways may be connected via small bridges that come down from the roof? Sort of like the ones at the Joanne Tour, but better.

The way we've gotten increasingly close to Rescue Me on the past 2 tours, but its not remembered enough to be a classic single despite its decent chart performance.

Rescue Me, I'm sorry my dear, but this is not your time.

Assuming Celebration will be performed since that’s the name of the tour and the song the radio ads are using? I’m also speculating it’ll be a medley with Holiday.

I have to wonder if she'll throw in Nothing Really Matters as a curveball. She seemed to finally acknowledge its existence for her Pride video installation in 2021...

I think someone said it in here the past few days, but I hope she does and marries it with the Club 69 Mix by the late great Peter Rauhofer. It would work well as a mashup with the album version since it retains most of the original stems while elaborating in such a fab way that would work great in an arena.

The only thing I'm worried about for this is Kevin Antunes' potential involvement. I know he commented on and/or liked at least one of her posts about the tour but, cliche as it sounds, Stuart is literally right there.
I didn't want to be all Debbie Downer about it but I was trying to think of one of his reworks that really impressed me and I couldn't really think of one. Even stuff that was fun like Vogue, Into the Groove and Frozen from Sticky are literally just mashing two songs together, nothing particularly creative or fresh.

Anyway, maybe Madonna will push him for this one.

I want Stuart like anyone else, but Kevin’s approach would work brilliantly for TikTok, which is essentially just all mashups. Would be kind of smart. Plus great (and hopefully positive) exposure for M.

This. Mashups undeniably require a huge level of talent and breadth of musical awareness (look at Amorphous the past 18 months) so if Kevin is on board and can tap in to the zeitgeist then I'm not 100% opposed. I'd prefer Stuart but having both of them actually makes a lot of sense in 2023.

I'm not even a fan of Sticky and Sweet but those mashups all worked very well. I'm not suggesting she market entirely to a younger demographic but I think some mashups would work wonders for this type of show.

I love Stuat's work, but I like some of the things Kevin has done, especially song selection and mashups (which I guess it's something he does have a say?).

Candy Shop\Erotica, Celebration\Give It 2 Me, I'm a Sinner\Cyberraga, Beautiful Killer\Die Another Day (MDNA Olympia), You Must Love Me, Like a Virgin (RH Tour, with pieces of Erotica and Heartbeat).

Personally the idea of mashups and elements are my favorites to fit as many songs possible. A really great and well planned medley is always a highlight.
