I didn't rate Sooner or Later too well because the studio version pales when compared to the Oscars serve. Similar case for Lament
I gave a very low score to Sooner or Later at first, but then I threw a few points its way when Ms. @Beautiful Child 2 mentioned this point:
We love a confident queen Sooner or later you're gonna be mine Sooner or later you're gonna be fine Baby, it's time that you faced it I always get my man Sooner or later you're gonna decide Sooner or later there's nowhere to hide Baby, it's time, so why waste it in chatter Let's settle the matter Baby, you're mine on a platter I always get my man But if you insist, babe The challenge delights me The more you resist, babe The more it excites me And no one I've kissed, babe Ever fights me again If you're on my list It's just a question of when When I get a yen Then baby, amen I'm counting to ten And then I'm gonna love you like nothing you've known I'm gonna love you, and you all alone Sooner is better than later but lover I'll hover, I'll plan This time I'm not only getting, I'm holding my man
"Gang Bang" has to be the highest scoring song from MDNA right? I literally can't think what else it would be.
Mine is Masterpiece, but I have a feeling it's going to be out sooner or later. edit: My second highest score actually. Falling Free is the one for me.
"Masterpiece", "Beautiful Killer" and "Falling Free" would've been a great top 3 of "MDNA" tracks (I would put "Best Friend" as among my own top 3, but barely anyone will agree with that). Seeing "I'm Addicted" as the winning "MDNA" song in the previous rate left me greatly confused.
213 SCORE: 5.545 2015 PLACEMENT: 199 of 210 (4.951) HIGHEST SCORE: 10 x 3 (@Jonathan27 @Bleu Noir @evilsin) LOWEST SCORE: 0 x 1 (@sexercise) MY SCORE: 4/10 Is it though "Incredible" is just... annoying. It's all so fractured. The production is just the typical Pharrell treatment of twitching junk yard noises, the vocal sample that stutters and loops in the chorus grinds on my nerves, Madonna herself sounds shrill as all hell, and then it all combines into this hateful cycle of shit as the song attempts to ratchet up some kind of climax when really it ends up being a fairly anti-climatic cacophonous mess. THAT GOES ON FOR SIX MINUTES. My four points go to the first minute or so while it's still relatively on the rails but apart from that.
I seem to recall miss @sexercise stanning out for Hard Candy in the group chat so I'm a little surprised to see that zero
I quite like "Incredible", the last good Pharrell track on the record. That lyre sample is everything.
Why in God's name are some of you calling for Lament, Sooner or Later and You Must Love Me of all songs right now? G*t m*th*rf*ck*ng t*st*
5 minutes afterwards I said it was worse than I remember it being. You will not be slandering me on this day you moose.
