I suppose "auto" as opposed to just "biography picture" insinuates that her "voice" will be prominent in the telling of her story, rather than just the usual "this was Madonna's life". Which we probably knew from her involvement in the script / directing (?), but is exciting.
Also I called Florence Pugh to star in it a couple years ago. She would be a great fit, in my opinion.
