I’m not sure it would work with Madonna either. I would love it to, but I think she is too dismissive and often deflects - it’s OK amongst 50 questions, but the look book concept relies on the subject paying respect to the past and reflecting with some degree reverence. I just don’t think Madonna would take it seriously.
It's on brand in the sense of how when she discussed her own work she picks stuff most people are least invested in. I was more surprised she chose Like a prayer as her favourite to perform. But to not enjoy the reaction that song brings you would have to be incredibly perverse and not even she is that perverse.

I’m loving the Die Another Day so it’s good to hear her acknowledge such as treasure.
Die Another Day is so much better and more interesting than most Bond themes (Skyfall is actually the only one I prefer). The hate it gets genuinely annoys me. Whenever somebody tries to do something different, people get stupid about it. And a lot of people were always going to trash a Madonna Bond theme no matter what it sounded like.

It's just that particular remix never really did anything for me and there are much better remixes on the album.
