God I'm SO excited at this. Happy she confirmed it is also the album being re-issued because just yesterday I was writing a post (and then deleted dd) if they somehow considered the American Life Mixdown a "kick off" for this campaign and this would be their second installment; they are nice additions but would be missing the "reclaiming" aspect of celebrating the original album. Remastered Songs & Videos coming too, hopefully.
Playing my own Bedtime Stories 30 playlist I created last year just now in celebration of this announcement. You cannot beat this album for a unwind. Such a mood.

I purposely held off on buying any of the Madonna back cat* on vinyl, so I'm glad this looks like we're being rewarded for our patience finally (and also handily, I'm in a much better financial position than I was when she announced the reissue work three years ago).

I hope for the best, but I slightly fear she might be talking about just the same EP and not a proper album rerelease on top of the EP. ”Re-release and vinyl” is rather oddly phrased. Hopefully it’ll be exactly that, album rerelease plus vinyl EP, but surely the rerelease would also be on vinyl…? Maybe best to just leave logic and reason!
I’m hoping for original album on pastel vinyl, demo EP vinyl and a deluxe CD with all that and more, more, more.
Yeah I feel like the announcement and her caption were poorly worded. It’s giving her saying “50 re-mixes……out now” when Finally Enough Love was announced and the only thing out was Into the Groove
