Marcus Collins

So its been confirmed that he is working with Barlow. Oh dear. I think it was digital spy who also confirmed that he very much set on a stylistic and musical direction.

Would it be Bruno Mars Ligth by any chance?

Well, as long as he takes his shirt off, il be alright with it.

As long as he doesn't turn into a Bruno Mars 2.0, I'm fine with whatever he does. I don't want him to go down the 'retro' route.

And Gary's a good song writer, but only when he writes songs for Take That, so I'm curious what they'll both come up with.

He's releasing his album in March!..., Just in time for mothers day then! Who is he signed with?
This is also around the time of the tour i wonder if he will be singing his own songs.

March 12 seems kind of soon but it's better than the last part of the year. I hope it's original songs and not cover heavy. I don't want to see any Motown classics or whatever on the album. If he is going for a 1960's/1970's sound for the whole album I would hope it's something like Solange's Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams.

And I am wondering as well, who did he sign with and who did/ is he working with?

Such an early release date makes it seem like it'll be a covers album, doesn't it? It's a shame, he has the potentially to be great, like.

It does make it seem like it'll be covers which would be a serious shame. Then the tour is happening so I hope he is able to promote it properly. And apparently he is with RCA according to BBC Newsbeat.

I'm assuming he must have done at least one song with Barlow?
It all seems so rushed, seems to me his record label have no faith in him surviving a break from public consciousness.

I hope he does well but my expectations are not high, did he not follow what happened to Alesha and Matt once they believed the hype about hit maker Gary Barlow.

This would be the ideal direction he should follow, unfortunately I agree with everyone. If its coming out so soon it's probably a covers album. I have to confess Im eager to hear what Garry and Marcus come up with.

Apparently (ie according to someone I've never heard of on Twitter) he's covered Janelle Monae's Tighrope. Someone listened to my suggestion! Whoop whoop! (It's going to be terrible, isn't it?)
