I’m guessing the new era is gonna be associated with love hearts in some way as her Hyde Park visuals was full of heart motifs (outside of the Electra Heart section) along with her profile pics.

I have to admit I was unnecessarily sour about her last album and didn't get the vision. The music was better but I find that her visual idenity can be confusing with no throughline. Like Ancient Dreams was basically a cute sister to Family Jewels, so why were the visuals are serving Euro dance act from 1999? Or basically just generic Spotify pop girl from 2021. Anyway, I've been rinsing the debut this year and I'm really in the mood for some new Marina tbh.

I'd kill for an Electra Heart follow up, to be honest. Hopefully her seeing so many of it's tracks go viral on TikTok inspired her to get back in her pop, melodic bag. Ancient Dreams was a step up but still left a lot to be desired.

Ancient Dreams was almost a return to form, although it was a little too much on the slow side. I do have faith that she has another good album or two in her.

A follow-up to Froot would be much appreciated. Something short, concise and not big on statements. This is a small complaint but can she also go back to her old pseudonym nn or at least add her last name to it. Marina Diamandis is a perfect pop star name!
