David Kosten tweeted a pic of Marina's gift to him, which was a bunch of TFJ demos, and she wrote "Girls (Greek Version)" on there, which is seen as the 'official' name for the Fast Car Version of Girls. Love the Calm Down one too, especially the bridge!

I'm still so bummed that the second half of the first verse of Hollywood is forgotten by most people. It's clearly the more interesting than the first half.

Maybe... But I like the part.
Re-listened to FROOT for the first time in a while and it's such a refreshingly honest album. Lyrically for me it's head and shoulders above Electra Heart where some of the songs are little kitschy. I know Weeds is seen as the weak link but "I miss all of my exes, they're the only ones that know me but God knows that sex is a way to feel a bit, a little bit less lonely" is brilliant.

I much prefer the album version of Hollywood. The single version is much too chorus-heavy because of the ace bit they edited out.
Weeds is divine.

Hermit the Frog is quite possibly in my top 5 Marina.A great jab at hypocrisy of patriarchy.

Hermit the Frog is so underrated. It's in my top 5 as well. The theatrics of it are heavenly.
