This could be better than Give It 2 Me in the end, just saying.
And I'm Addicted might not even be one of the future singles.
"The Madonna album is fucking great" and I believe it.

What the hell is going?

A 1 minute LQ clip of this song is WAY more enjoyable than the first two singles combined.

She's always had the right choice of singles before (we shall ignore choosing "Love Profusion" over "Nothing Fails").

Have Interscope given her too much freedom over these decisions or have they lost the plot themselves?

There are a few things this needs:

Strings - The syntheticness of it all comes off a bit cheap, Madonna songs work best when they're a bit thematic and dramatic.

Good vocals - She sounded terrible on every song right now. Paper thin vocals, half-heartedly distorted to created wafty, in-and-out harmonies.

Interscope didn't want Give Me All Your Luvin' to be the lead / Superbowl buzz single at first, someone mentioned somewhere. She must have fought for that song, the music video budget and the dancing in front of a wall scene. And she got it all.

Neither Interscope nor Madonna wanted I'm Addicted as a single to lead the album apparently.
It's more of a very good album track (or promotional single) anyways I think but potentially better than Hard Candy's second single.

What do I say, the more singles and great videos we get from her this time, the better.

I'm glad we got the wall scenes. We never would've got the finger guns otherwise!

I can't believe she still led the album campaign with a mediocre song that had leaked ages ago, when all the time she had this up her sleeve. It sounds like it could possibly be very, very amazing.

Amazing.

Little L I agree. Frankly I couldn't care less if she never has a hit again as long as the music is good and she actually bothers to make videos I'm happy. Unfortunately the only thing going right at the moment seem to be the videos.

I don't mind it as the lead single, because we got a fantastic video out of it.

"I hear your voice / I have no choice". Maybe she has finally started to listen to her fans after all. We all love a game of Madonna Lyric Bingo. She really should license a board game or something for Christmas.

I'm Addicted definitely samples something in the chorus. It's fucking brilliant though. I knew Girl Gone Wild was to throw us off the scent.

he/him
I am definitely a fan of that clip. Finally something to get me truly excited for what else might be in store. Just hoping her vocals improve on the other songs.

I'm nervous about the 'Love Spent' clip tomorrow.

Orbit has yet to prove himself on this project and I'm praying for his material.
