So the only person who died because of the age-bracket system was Malou Prytz. RIP.

 

Oh and Anis would have been direkt over Mohombi without the age system.

Things I realized today after looking at the spreadsheet:

1) If I'm understanding it correctly, the most that an act can now get from the public vote is 96 points (by coming first in all 7 age groups + televote). No more days of Loreen getting 154 points or MZW getting 166 points (although I know the scales were different).

2) When Mariette and Mohombi earned their single digit scores, I thought to myself, "Well, at least nobody is going to get a S!sters-style zero." Oops not the case! Poor act that someday comes in 11th or 12th in all voting groups. "I'm sorry..."

 

Only category Dotter was #1 is the 30-44 category...Hmm.

Looking at how popular Hanna was I'm surprised it wasn't closer. The juries really screwed her huh (I'll add she wasn't my favorite but from her perspective etc). Maybe she would have won without juries (or a close second?).

 

The Mamas stomped. They won in pure votes as well.

I'm just glad Hanna did well.

 

Felix barely made it out of Andra Chansen oh wow.

 

It's quite an odd thing how some big names just straight up Flop with a capital F. Sweden never fails to surprise me.

 

The fact she lost to Robin fucking Bengtsson. A true scam.

 

Honestly losing to Anton Hagman is even worse

 

Both of those songs were better though so the taste came through from the Swedes.
