Misheard Lyrics

A

AAAAAAAHHHPUSSYCONTROL

I heard "I'm Mrs. Extra-sextra-licious thing" in Britney's Piece of Me for years.

When I found out it was "Extra, extra, This just in" it all made sense. Not that I didn't make complete sense of myself before that.

I was very confused with Madonna's Music. I thought it went:
"Music. makes the bourgeoisie and red bomb.", thinking that "bourgeoisie" wasn't in the song, 'cause it must be "boys watch me", right? Turns out it IS "bourgeosie" but it's "mix the bourgeosie and the rebels."

Weird.

Angel City- Sunrise just came on and it reminded me that I used to think the line in the chorus was ''when your liver is failing.'' I think it's actually ''when you're living this feeling.''

In Just Dance i thought it started off Red Wine not Red one.

side not i find it very annoying when a producer points their name in the song

'Say My Name' - in the 'yay yeah yeah' part near the end of the song I always thought it was the odd 'you're acting gay, gay, you're acting gay.'

^^ Haha...

"Don't need no holy muscles..." in Jamiroquai's song Lifeline. Oops. I've been singing to this the whole time until I noticed it sounds weird so I checked it. It's actually 'Don't pick no hole in my soul'.

Take That - Every Guy.

Real lyrics: "You can take my body, take my fingers and my tongue".
What I used to make of it: "You can take my body, take my fingers and my thong". Haha!

I thought it was 'I'm red raw...gaga' which kind of fits the theme of the song, being so out of it that you can't tell where you are!

In 10 Dollar, by M.I.A.

The real line's apparently 'making moves on a mover'. I've always thought it was "shake your moobs in the mirror"...

I never misheard this, but I found it hilarious:

In Ellie Goulding's 'Under the Sheets'

In our house made of paper, your words all over me
was misheard as
In our house made of bacon, ew it's all over me

Oh my god I thought exactly the same!

For about 10 years thought the Spice Girls were saying "If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get rid of my friends" in Wannabe. I was like "that's not very nice..."

Has anyone ever been able to decipher the lyrics to Nightcrawlers' Push the Feeling on? Sounds like:

"Burning their lives again, burning their lives, the pullness (!?)..." repeat x 1000

Me and my sister used to sing "We light up again, we light up through a SPOON."

In Paloma Faith's Stargazer, I thought she said "how will I sign animal without your I must fear" instead of "how will I shine anymore without your atmosphere".

I'm so illiterate with song lyrics, I just keep singing my version of the lyrics and read the real ones like a year later and realise how wrong I was.

I think that's what some online lyrics uploaders do. I found some hilarious ones for Gabriella Cilmi's Love Me Cos You Want To where they were down as

"so play by the rules and droplets of skies"

when it's really:

"so play by the rules and drop the disguise"

The former doesn't even make sense!!

There was another line of

"give me something to hold on to cos they're the one's who're wasting our time"

but really it's "give me something to hold on to cos otherwise you're wasting our time".

Some people are a bit silly!
