Notable achievements:
Final Fast Food Rocker song to be eliminated, outlasting the 3 singles
Was entered to PJ00s by me in May 2021 and made 24th place (robbed)
The one Fast Food Rocker song to make our Top 50!
Wanna know what's also 'unforgettable'?
Tina Burner who?
Poor Fast Food Rockers - how could they ever be taken seriously in the slightest with that ugly-ass colour palette? I guess the only blessing for the group is that they were on the inside of the costumes looking out!
'Unforgettable' immediately stood-out for me as a sparkling gem of a song on FFR's disastrously performing 2003 album 'It's Never Easy Being Cheesy' but is it really any wonder considering the pedigree of the writers/producers on display: Mike Stock, Steve Crosby (Scooch, Steps) and pop maestros Rose & Foster! Also known as Dufflebag Boys, the duo are responsible for some glorious turn of the century pop including fellow rate entry 'One Step Closer' by S Club Juniors , material by the original S Club and Scooch, and the one and only Adam Rickitt. Rose & Foster also wrote and produced much of this iconic discography:
Whew! A BACK CATALOGUE.
No surprise then that their protégé Lolly, real name Anna Kumble, is roped in to perform *ahem* backing vocals alongside Scooch's Natalie Powers on much of the Rockers' album...
Voters say:
@iheartpoptarts 10 I unapologetically 12’d this. Justice for bubblegum.
@Doodvid 10 Joyous! Even the weird vocal pitching 'moment' in the second verse can’t shake my love for this track.
@unnameable 9 Somehow I have to give a high vote to a Stock/Aitken retread of their greatest hits.
@Ezz 9 Definitely one of the strongest album tracks, wonder if this had been released as a single with the novelty turned down, would it have worked?
@saviodxl 7.8 It reminds me of One For Sorrow by Steps…
@Hudweiser 7 I quite like this (and I'm Not Gonna Tell You Again) but it's a little cheap sounding. With better production this could've been a decent Steps track.
@DJHazey 6.8 Hmm, I sat right up when it started but feel like it never quite measured up to what the opening presentation had promised.
No live performances sadly so have this snippet of their version of 'Ghostbusters' instead:
I've just had this email from one of the agencies we deal with for club gigs.
FAST FOOD ROCKERS ARE BACK!
The pop group who took the charts by storm in the 2000s with their megahit 'Fast Food Song' and the follow up 'Say Cheese' are back for some more gigs!
The band are available for a 15 track PA full of the two hit singles and some covers.
You are kidding! Fast Food Rockers on top of the other important but less iconic reunions? Best news ever! I need to go to whichever imitation Butlins is hosting them...

Sorry to quote myself but honestly I reckon Lolly's 'Per Sempre Amore' is up there with 'Absolutely Everybody' by Vanessa Amorosi as a masterpiece of 2000s pop.
And @berserkboi, one of the dancers in that Top of the Pops performance is an original member of the PJ00s legendaric girl group that was Loose Chippins! *faint* "Who the hell are Loose Chippins?" I hear you ask. WELL.
Of course, there's very little on earth that touches the genius of Absolutely Everybody, but Per Sempre Amore is Lolly's 11 and a masterpiece in its own right.
