Strangely, or should that be spookily, our (un?)lucky 13 hasn't been mentioned in the recent guesses!
This would have been immense, although I'm kind of glad this track's position meant it's held on for another few weeks.
Beware of the full moon
Stick to the path
Out come the creatures
A spine-chilling laugh!
[I was today years old when I learned that it's 'beware of the full moon' rather than 'beware of the fall'! This rate is educational!]

Notable achievements:
Their signature track, becoming the essential Hallowe'en track for any house party or provincial nitespot (especially since it was made available on Spotify). Achieved #12 on the UK charts, a 8 place improvement on their debut single.
Find me a song in this rate that is as deliciously camp as that opening spoken verse! Even on the starSTREET clip below, in an actual kids' TV show, it feels like the band and their producers kept a distinct 'tongue in cheek' feel, which adds to the charm. Where the team didn't do quite as well, as picked up by our lovely commentary team below and the ever-amazing
Can't Stop the Pop, was the execution of the single's campaign. An amazing Hallowe'en theme? Release the song in late September (possibly to do with the broadcast of starSTREET). Even the inclusion on the Scooby-Doo soundtrack was slightly squandered, as the film was typical school summer fare. Although the song got a respectable #12 position in the UK charts, it exited the charts in just 4 weeks, before Hallowe'en.
The song lurked in the memories of a select bunch of pop connoisseurs until 2019, when it was finally released on Spotify, hopefully to gain a second life on many a seasonal soundtrack. It certainly deserves a wider audience. Becky Hunter takes her usual (sometimes shared with Thaila) role of lead vocalist, but there are also opportunities for the other members to shine, with the judicious use of the echoing refrains throughout the song. An amazing bassline, undeniably catchy hooks and a chorus that stays just the right side of chaotic all contribute to 4 minutes of pop perfection. More recently, the entire allSTARS* album was added to Spotify, including the bonus remixes such as the Xenomania one included below, adding even more frenetic energy to the track.

One of the best things to come onto Spotify. Is it a prelude to a 20 year reunion?
@saviodxl 9.3
Love this Kim Wilde meets Da Buzz vibes.
@Doodvid 9.3
In an era of songs peaking on their week of release and subsequently dropping like a stone from the UK charts, why on earth was this released a whole month before Halloween?

Backstreet’s Back, Alright
@DJHazey 9
In contrast to the last song [allSTARS* Best Friends], "Something Spooky" type bops can be catnip for me, like has been achieved right here. I guess I'm Hallowen bop bish

Was this for a Scooby Doo movie? It's cute and fun.

I can’t quite work out whether the Scooby Doo-ness of it all is deliberate.
@unnameable 6.5
Using the “Most Haunted” low-light effects in the video (interestingly, the producer of Most Haunted was the man who made the “Pure Shores” video, so he made a career out of that effect)
Warnings: motion sickness effects (do other people get this from over-animated Powerpoint presentations?!?); seriously questionable live vocals in the verses with the rest of it mimed? I think!
As it appeared in the starSTREET series. Depsite the dodgy green screen still manages to look more sophisticated than Supernatural - Supernatural!
The love seemed to be shared by the old Popjustice forum!
