It’s the same in Canarias. We just received 200 doses and they’re all for those on prep and/or close contacts of confirmed cases. Madrid is giving them out more freely (lots of friends already have theirs) but I imagine it’s because their cases are much higher. Ugg.

I mean, as much as I would like to get vaccinated especially learning that there is a possibility of airborne transmission, I still wouldn't cut the line of people who are more at risk. I have one sexual partner and I'm rarely out in places where I rub against strangers any more. I'd rather see the dose go to someone who will actually contribute to ending transmission than myself.
Weirdly, my local clinic didn't run through any of this with me. I asked, they gave me an appointment. In fact, it even seemed like they had spare capacity the day I went.
My GP basically just asked me if I had two or more partners in the last two weeks and I was like yes and that got me on the list along with being on prep.
You're completely right, please let me elaborate on my point. The criteria is there for good reason, and it should definitely be used as a guideline. But it's arbitrary and merely based on assumptions – eg if you are on prep you are more likely to be at risk than someone who is not on it, same goes for number of recent partners and history of STIs. But everyone's reality is different. I was technically not eligible, but I *know* I was a high risk case when I got my jab. Looking at the current UK rules in particular, the language is also very exclusive. For example trans folks would totally be excluded from the current rollout. All I'm saying is, only we know our own risk factor and people should feel free to make an informed decision about whether they should get it or not. The last couple of posts suggest that this is in fact the case and practitioners are not getting too hung up on the rules, which is good!

Very normal for that bump / redness near the site of injection can last up to two to three weeks. Your other symptoms should subside by the end of the weekend.

It's been 13 days and I still have mine too, which is normal. I have more fatigue lately as well.

I came to say the same thing. The area where they did the injection still really aches. I was concerned at first but after reading the prolonged ache and bump is normal I guess I just have to deal with it for now.
Yeah, I got mine two weeks ago and the lump is still slightly there. It takes a while to go down.
