Music Not on Streaming (And Getting It There!)

I bought the single (like in the last 5 years ddd) so I could include the iconic mix of Riddle in my playlists. Even this mix on the CD I bought is 10x better than the album mix

I went diving into the remixes and this one is the one for me.

Textbook example of one of the worst '90s trends. Having a really hot radio/video mix, then you'd buy the album and the one song you knew wasn't as a good as you were used to hearing it. And in the US the only way to get the video mix would be a $12 import single.

(While we're talking about Riddle, it's always bothered me that a lot of the lines don't rhyme.)

I don't even know how much the Stargate remix was played on the radio or video anywhere. I just saw a performance on a German TV show and it was the boring album version. Their label must've been on crack not to release the Stargate remix as the main version worldwide, could've been massive with a big promo and radio push.

Been trying for nearly three years….

Their label didn't even seem to want the Stargate music video on YouTube for the longest time and it kept being removed.

I found two additional remixes called The Ultimate Riddle on an Eil.com promo that aren't on YouTube and I'm intrigued!

I wish Craig David's early singles were on Spotify. There's nothing earlier than Standing In The Shadows Of Love from 2010!

The Ignorants remix of Walking Away was amazing and he completely re-recorded all the vocals. It's basically a totally different song:

I'd love the Full Crew remix of 7 Days and the Blacksmith remix of Rendezvous (which is miles better than the dull original). Shame they're not on there.
