As a PR opportunity, I doubt any of the three could resist. The press generated would be huge and all three would be instantly cast back into the spotlight. Siobhan and Mutya know what they do best, so I'd imagine putting inter-band differences aside for the sake of the publicity and the paycheck would be quite easy.

1.0 + Orbit? Really? Sounds too good to be true.

  3. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

If this is true then it just goes to show what TRULY horrible people Keisha and Mutya are.

It's almost like they are doing this to spite the Sugababes.

  4. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

holy moly and popjustice have close links... *pretty please* can mr pj get his mate mr holy moly on the phone and get some more info or varification of sources?

  5. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

    *awaits Keisha's Twitter rant*

She's been recording solo stuff lately. I doubt she would want to do a reunion. Maybe a one-off "Overload" performance at the Brit Awards? Would at least boost all of their profiles.

  6. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

I'm just looking around that site for the first time...is it really that reputable? It seems to consist of nothing but shit written by twats.

  7. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

The name isn't owned by them

  8. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

She's been in the studio recording new material in the last few days and sounds quite excited about her solo career. But if they are indeed all offered 'sweeteners' by way of coaxing them into reforming she might just do it. I reckon Keisha would be easier to persuade than Siobhan.

  9. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

prays that this is so true!

  10. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

    can you imagine!? *dreamcomestrue*

  11. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

Almost like cutting of their own nose to spite their own faces, one might say?

I've been watching 'The Twilight Zone' all morning, and now there are doppelganger pop groups in the world, brilliant!

  12. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

Holy Moly is a reputable site.

  13. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

This could be amazing although I'd prefer 2.0 to reform.

Legally, who owns the Sugababes name? Is it Island or Crown?

Are the legal ways for 1.0 to use the name forcing 4.0 to rename themselves?

  14. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

lol, yes it's quite reputable. popjustice and holy moly used to be based together and run together as a joint venture. not sure if it's still the case though

If this will happen it will be so interesting and strange.. imagine after another fight Siobhan quits again, will they drag Heidi in again and will history repeat?

  16. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

Fair enough. I still stand by the shit and twats bit though.

  17. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

No, they'd poach Jade and really mess with our minds.

  18. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

    Shiv surely needs the money?
Come to think of it- I never thought I'd see the return of the police, the specials, blur...
I certainly hoped I'd never see spandau again!

  19. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

actually, what if mr pj was mr holy moly's source for the info?

    *mind explodes*

  20. Re: The Original Sugababes are Back!

I don't believe it but I would LOVE it to be true!

Mainly because the Sugababes have become such a joke, I think it needs to be more outrageously ridiculous!!
