Well, here we are. Welcome to the freshly updated site and to a new chapter in my career. I am really excited to tell you that my new album is in the final stages of mixing and we are hoping to release it in the UK by March 2009.

It has taken longer than I would have hoped to get to this point (I will spare you the gory details) but it feels very good to be in a postion of control and being able to decide how this record will be delivered to the world.

For those of you who are based outside of the UK, we will be announcing our International release plans in early 2009 but will be giving you opportunities to listen to and purchase new music via this site.

I am looking forward to playing live as much as possible to support this record and will let you know about the live plans as soon as they come together.

Same, I'm bedridden with a naaaasty cough. The Popjustice virus?!

The news of a Nat album makes me happy, even though I know I'll in all likelihood listen to it once, say "that was really nice" and then it'll end up in my stack with Hadouken! and Sara Bareilles...good albums but not albums I'll listen to very often in the future :S

I like it, but I hope it's not the first single. The harmonies in chorus hurt my ears.

This is quite different! It could do without the slightly Ronson-esque elements of production but otherwise nice. Spooky-ish chorus. It'd make a good album track...

Glad she's coming back, 'Glorious' is one of my favourite all time songs. I'll give the track a listen soon.

Of the new songs on her greatest hits Glorious was my least favourite but still good. I loved Be With You and Amelia. I generally love all she does though. White Lilies Island is amazing. Such a shame that wasn't the success that Left of the Middle was.

It sounds nothing like Glorious.

And I lovelovelove Be with You. It so should've been a single.

I agree with "Be With You" - it is the better track. It used to get airplay on a local Boston internet radio station in late 2007. I actually thought it was released as a single.

I've never bought a Natalie Imbruglia album or anything but Torn, Wrong Impression, Shiver, and Counting Down the Days are all amazing singles.

I really love her albums. Left of the Middle is my least favourite but it's still great and contains my fave Natalie single - Smoke. That song is just beautiful. It was out at the time my grandfather on my mum's side passed away, and having lost my father 10 years earlier the line "where are you dad? mum's looking sad" gets me every time.

This sounds like a left of the middle b-side which isn't bad but its clearly a demo.


I doubt it'll be a single. Isn't Scars the first single? Thats ace.
