This has been ongoing for a while. The Weeknd dropped a deluxe for his album after a few days, Selena announced hers was coming before the actual album dropped (although the actual release was a couple months later), Taylor’s came with the physical release, etc. It’s to give it a cute boost on streaming.

“This song was originally called ‘Glow,’ but after my wife heard the album she kept referring to it as ‘Sexual.’ I was like, ‘I don't know what you're talking about.’ She felt strongly that it should be called ‘Sexual,’ so at the very last minute I changed the title. Obviously I think she was right. The thing I like about this record is that it feels like the connective tissue between my last solo album, which was more R&B and soul-inspired, and this solo album, which is more ’80s pop. It’s the bridge.”

I find it so weird that he did the Graham Norton show, but didn’t perform. A single performance of This Is Heaven would have done wonders for the album.

I hope This Is Heaven does decently for him, I’d like to see the campaign stretch out further so we get a soft porn video at some point. I could see 2Drunk as a single next.

It’s a shame that they didn’t use something like the Spaceman or This Is Heaven single covers as the album cover and had the current cover on the back. Can’t say I’m keen on the deluxe artwork.
