Nicki Minaj - "Princess Diana" (Remix) with Ice Spice

I wasn't about to give her a bunch of streams, but I tried watching the video and it's just so.. Odd? Shocked at how well the song is doing.

This is holding up well, still sitting at #1 & #8 on iTunes, #2 on Apple Music, and down from #7 to #9 on Spotify today. It impacts rhythmic radio tomorrow but debuted at #49 today. She also dropped a shortened music video without any of the acting bits to push some extra streams on YouTube.

She's on course for her 20th top 10 on the Hot 100.

I wonder if it's really connecting with people or if it's just stans mass-buying/streaming.

I know Spotify filters mass streams on their charts, I remember BTS fans causing an uproar when one of their songs had more "unfiltered" total streams than the number represented on the official Top 50 chart. I'm not sure how it works exactly, but I believe it caps each user at a certain amount of daily plays or consecutive plays now.

It would take a lot for me to ever check her after the past few years, but the thing about Chun-Li is that.. It was an amazing song. The verses were fire, the writing wasn't lazy. It reminds you of her capabilities. Queen was solid, and that's arguably one of the best songs on it.

These new singles just don't have that.

And they said Chromatica had no impact!
