She'll do a Kelly Rowland, top 10 single and crap album sales.

Nicole has done a short interview with the BBC, basically talking about the coming months. She says her next single is due for release in January (kinda makes sense), so I assume (although I've learned never to assume anything with Nicole's release dates) that an album would follow soon after that.

Speaking about the album, she mentions that the bulk of it has been produced by RedOne (screams of desperate hit scenario, but I certainly don't blame her) and that it has a massive, 'in-your-face' dance sound, coloured with funk, soul and rock and roll influences that will produce stadium-filling music...

Sounds good! Whether this actually translates in reality is another question.

    I am so excited again.

Just been watching her interview on Xtra factor.

    She was such a cutie.

Quite interesting to hear her say that she wanted to get Cher on a recording with her.

Someone is trying to sell tracks from this, two new song titles are "Wet" which apparently was produced by StarGate and Sandy Vee and sounds like Only Girl. Another song title is "ClubBanger Nation" which is super up-tempo and produced by RedOne.

Did anyone notice the face when she's saying 'dance music with rock and *cue normal face* funk'?

  7. Re: Nicole Scherzinger - Debut Album

    What strange titles!

  8. Re: Nicole Scherzinger - Debut Album

Wet sounds like a Janet Jackson title. ClubBanger Nation is an awful name too.

I don't know if this has been reported yet but Niles from The Cataracs wrote this status before Christmas...

They both sound like Janet titles. Well, I'm thinking Throb and Rhythm Nation.

Nicole doesn't seem like the type to have a song titled 'Wet' and it be dirty - it would probably be about have a dance off in the rain!

"I do the hokey-pokey, moonwalky-talky, keep up with me pet, I'm stealin' the show and drippin' wet!"

That didn't turn out as funny as I had hoped.

According to Universal Australia, this is out March 16th (this was probably posted ages ago, but I'm just finding out about it now).

ClubBanger Nation? Sounds very Macedonian entrant for Eurovision.

    Which is an amazing thing.

I don't think they'll keep the name Her Name Is Nicole? I hope not.

  18. Re: Nicole Scherzinger - Debut Album

Cold, produced by Dave Aude, leaked in full.

"Wet" sounds very Prince, maybe it samples "Soft & Wet"?
