Despite it being called a remaster it doesn't really do it justice, it had a huge graphical overhaul which required loads of new assets. I think they stuck with the Remastered title because they didn't change anything about the gameplay (except for additional controller options). It’s just a HD, upscaled port, similar to Metroid Prime.
The new lighting in Thousand Year is beautiful and really elevates the feel but I do miss the pop art/manga dot shading. Very Wind Waker in that it gives and takes.
I did and I changed my mind... but my order is still on the way cause I need them to know that Peach is a million seller!Anyone who is interested, I would suggest playing the demo and seeing if you like it first.
Princess Peach Superstar was going to be a blind buy for me but I downloaded the demo and it was disappointingly boring. I don't mind an easy game!
there are so many frustrating pauses to the gameplay for small cutscene type moments and dialogue.
Also Metroid Prime was called a remaster but all assets were remade, plus a new control scheme. That’s why it looked so amazing.
I remember Kirby and the Forgotten Land had similar issues, and obviously the mess of Pokemon Scarlet/ Violet and Legends Arceus. All great games, but to varying degrees difficult to play. The new console can't come soon enough.
Really? I didn't notice anything when I played it, I thought it looked/played super smooth.
