Nintendo

I wanna go with a friend to the event but not leave the family group I am in (cuz of free Nintendo Switch Online). Anyone knows a way? Can I just sign up the other user and have my friend join?

Just bought Miitopia. I am so random.gif

Well I'm glad I did because it's actually super fun. Love how it's basically an ultra-streamlined, very silly Dragon Quest game, the fact that you get to create every character in the game and how your party members' personalities and relationships play a huge part in the gameplay. Despite the apparent simplicity there's a variety of mechanics going on to make it an interesting RPG experience, and of course the whole thing just being incredibly amusing is also a big plus.

Oh shit this sounds like a dream to me! Like, really, really fun, and everything I want in an RPG at this moment in my life. It appears that I will need to procure a Switch to play? I'm suffering from a flare-up of fibromyassisbrokeia, but I think a used Switch could be managed next month. I will want to play on the couch in front of a TV so I'll need to make sure I get joycons too, right? I used to know these kinds of things ddd

Oh and apparently the Wii is 19 years old now and closer to the debut of the Super Nintendo than the present day so that feels like a kick in the soul

We'll probably know what the Switch 2 is going to cost on April 4, so you might want to hold on to your money and see if it could be worth it.

Did not get tickets for the Switch 2 Event.
:noparty:

Another thing I love about Miitopia is the gear, there's so much variety for each of the jobs and it looks so cool, you end up always looking forward to next weapon/armor, both because obviously it's an upgrade but also just for what your characters are going to look like next. It's a great mix of more "realistic" ones and stuff like a cleric outfit that's based on a lump of bread or a warrior armour based on a toy monster.

It also clicked that this game is basically Animal Crossing: The RPG. Like all you need to do is replace the Miis with villagers. The vibe, humour, tone, even the character animations, it's all so AC.
