I need any song to beat Frozen. And I know in the ultimate decade countdown Dancing On My Own lost to Run Away With Me, but the latter was basically a solo song whereas Robyn spread votes more. I would love to see that battle of both DOMO and RAWM when it is just those two. Also, imagine the promo @aux would do ddd.

Though The Not That Kind era suffered quite some bit in the beginning none of the actual albumtracks were involved. B-side (and bonustrack) Late Last Night was the only to escape that, but it does make it look lovely to see the album was not in contention for losing a track from the actual album before the top 100. It still pains me to see the slow decline from Cowboys & Kisses - which was one of our former #1's (because it got an 11 and only 10's among our first three voters) alongside You'll Never Be Alone (same reason as Cowboys & Kisses), Stupid Little Things which surprisingly took the reign afterwards due to all the 11's being among the first batches of voters and only 10's until we reach the midway of voters. And our final winner which for some reason I'm Outta Love was creeping closer and closer too. But always far away.

Over 1/3rd of the voters gave the self-titled an average over a 9,0. So after sweeping the victory with it's lead single the parent album also destroys the competition. Looking at the Popjustice Rate Albums Vault and other averages this 8,7 ranks out at #1 alongside Caution. WHEW! The TALENT. And to think it could have been more with that sore thump that is Sexy Single basically isolated from the rest. Without that song the average is 8,9. If we replace the album with Underground Army like would have happened in the US before it got cancelled the average would have been 8,8. She did that.
So, time to finish this rate. My final rate (but I will be volunteering as back-up host) coming to an end. And it could not have been the most full circle ending. But before I say my thankyou and goodbye I have some clickworthy stuff (and me trying to get some final likes):

And yes @soratami I was apprehensive for doing this rate as I felt like it would not be justified to cut albums/songs simply to make it more able to do for casual fans. Yet having over 100 songs (and still songs that got excluded - mostly b-side lives or minimal features) I knew with her not being a massive forum fan it would hard to get voters. I was afraid I would end up below 10 voters. I hoped for 20. So getting 27 was a gift! Especially as 23 voters did it all! If an optional would have won it would not be that wrong. I want to thank all of you for going on this road with me. It was an absolute pleasure to host this rate for the woman from which I owe everything in music. My formative years in creating a soundscape I would love. But also showcasing the power of lyrics. She is always a glass half full kind of girl and for me that has always been inspiring. She is my girl. I am so glad I could do this. And you all made that possible. THANK YOU!

And yes @soratami I was apprehensive for doing this rate as I felt like it would not be justified to cut albums/songs simply to make it more able to do for casual fans. Yet having over 100 songs (and still songs that got excluded - mostly b-side lives or minimal features) I knew with her not being a massive forum fan it would hard to get voters. I was afraid I would end up below 10 voters. I hoped for 20. So getting 27 was a gift! Especially as 23 voters did it all! If an optional would have won it would not be that wrong. I want to thank all of you for going on this road with me. It was an absolute pleasure to host this rate for the woman from which I owe everything in music. My formative years in creating a soundscape I would love. But also showcasing the power of lyrics. She is always a glass half full kind of girl and for me that has always been inspiring. She is my girl. I am so glad I could do this. And you all made that possible. THANK YOU!

Here are my album averages from least to most. Shocked to see that Heavy Rotation is above Resurrection, although it was close. I was probably too harsh on Resurrection and some scores would be higher now.

I had a limited knowledge of Anastacia's music and career, and it's been very interesting and fun to learn more about this amazing singer. I've discovered so many great songs to listen to in 2021 and will keep up with Anastacia's career in the future.

What a victory. "I'm Outta Love" is brilliant, but looks like "Left Outside Alone" truly is an untouchable song and an absolute masterpiece. It's incredible that no one gave it anything by 10 or 11 - really justifies its power.
