I wanted to put up my Retrochart Top 100 of 1986 here - but that would ruin the Retrochart thread for 2024...but those songs will feature in my Weekly 1986 Retrocharts!
And on the deluxe of Mixed Up and yeah, the 7'' would be ace.

Is now the right time to mention that I had the pleasure of asking Su Pollard if she rages whenever she hears "When the going gets tough"? - Billy Ocean stopped "Starting Together" from getting to Number One!

I wouldn't have minded Claire and friends being on there tbh.
She was robbed. As great as Billy was, he could have given up at least one of those weeks at #1 for our Su! I remember being glued to the show which was massive at the time - it was the first 'reality' show I'd seen, and Starting Together is actually a great song.
That said, I'd be part-relieved if Now failed Su with '86 Extra given I've only a few years back paid £30 purely to get that track on CD!
