Now That's What I Call Music (Nostalgia)

I received my Now 00-01 on CD and vinyl today. It's been a while since I collected the regular Now albums, I probably stopped mid-50s however the 00s are my era so I'm keen to collect these. What kind of time frame am I looking at until 02-03 is announced/released?

The CD tracklist is great and will upgrade a selection of songs in my music library to Flac which is good. The vinyl tracklist however, what in the Absolute Radio is LP1 Side A?! Hopefully the later editions will go more pop.

It’s hard to judge how often they’ll be releasing the Millennium series, but hopefully we’ll get 02-03 by the end of the year, and yes, not only has the vinyl edition been done a complete injustice by reducing down to 2LP, which is only 1LP per year as opposed to 3LPs like the Yearbooks, but they’ve really tailored LP1 Side A to be indie / rock orientated, which is not how I remember the year 2000… I’m guessing to attract a certain audience.

On another note, it looks like Now Yearbook 1992 is next!

That looks quite complete, only song I miss from top of my head is Under The Bridge.
Did they jump a few years?

It isn't bad, though the fact that there will be inevitably a bonus edition annoys me. Missing some dance tracks too e.g. Felix Don't You Want Me.

I've just bought the Now 12 reissue and had a listen. I'm not sure if it was mentioned here or somewhere else (Facebook?), but Theme From S-Express fades abruptly early, and Love Changes (Everything) is the album version. Was it the album version on the original Now 12?

It was the "cast version" on the original one

Can't believe Now 115 is on the way already - bops but more than half of it I've not heard of/hasn't charted at all, keep praying for the series but it's surely on its way out.
I think it's safe for now, and expect it will find a level rather than continuing to fall to nothing. The new editions still outsell any of the reissues/yearbooks etc. I think the reason they put out so many releases now is to keep total sales up, so they're less reliant on any individual release doing well.
