Great job on the artwork btw, what did you use?

For me, the signs of drop-off were from Listen Like Thieves to Kick, rather than Kick to X (but I agree they smoothed off even more edges with X). I was just so underwhelmed by Kick, and I've never quite figured out why. I think it's that I loved the previous 2 albums so much.
Listen Like Thieves and Welcome to Wherever You Are, are the two peaks of the canon imho. X has only got two killer tracks for me in Hear That Sound and Disappear, rest are fine but nothing moves me the way say, Shine Like It Does or Same Direction does.

I think you're right, following a specialist release this week. The problem is Now have done all these tracks before. I knew someone who worked for AA Publishing and they made all their money from recycling content. Now, I guess are the same. But.... as there isn't a supermarket pick up market any more, they need to attract the niche market who want the Peruvian Dub Edit of everything, so I'm not sure who this is aimed at.

I'll pick up 82, 83 and 84 as they are my three years but the rest I doubt it.

I'd love NOW to go Niche, especially in the world of Pop! It'd be quite a unique selling point for them.

Let the budget compilations recycle, and let the NOW team go spelunking in the world of Pop for rarely licensed goodies & unique themed concepts.

The Yearbooks (and the Extras) have a nice little niche vibe for collectors and both versions include songs that you don't usually see - and time and effort is put in them. These "80s Dancefloor Pop 12" Remixes, and Power Ballads" compilations are so uninspired now, and I'm getting bored.
