Now That's What I Call Music (Nostalgia)

I'm disappointed if they have stopped the retro NOW reissues. I stopped buying them in the early 90s and had planned to collect them all the way through to 2005 when I lost interest in the charts. I've enjoyed collecting these reissues and am glad we got all of the 80s at least as I bought them on cassette at the time.

I love owning these two beauties and my favourite volumes/artwork on CD at last!

You can get Now 29 onwards for under £3 each on eBay, and 21-28 under £10. It's only really 19 and 20 that you might have to shell out a bit more for.

I remember being so thrilled to find 20, 21, 22 and 23 in a little record store in my home town back in the 90s. They weren't old old by then as I think 25 or 26 was the latest, but you tended not to see the previous ones in stock once the latest one was out. I also don't think they were very expensive either, and I maybe got them for around £5-10 or so when a new one was more like £15.

The NOW reissues are great for the odd track that isn't by a big artist and rarely appears on compilations - in the case of NOW 17 for example I was delighted to get 49ers - Don't You Love Me, Jam Tronik - Another Day In Paradise and E-Zee Possee - Everything Starts With An E.

Shame if they have discontinued the reissues as there would have been loads of obscure 90s dance tracks on these.

So buy the originals
