@ohnostalgia will be doing the appropriate promo for Taeyeon, I presume??

I like how you assume I keep tabs on her release schedule.

    I love these.

I also love Kyan Palmer now.
Fresh from our win in PJSC please vote for his pop album Burn Mona Lisa.
Highlights include 'Pretend That You Love Me' & 'Hidden Feelings'.

Also the winning song the addictively good 'Antisocial Socialites'.
Other than Kyan's easy vocals and Yuri's suave rap, Nicopop.'s production is so slick and modern in the best way. It's the squelchy production we need in more pop music.

So, since the deadline for my Kate Nash rate is now in November, does anyone fancy another shot at getting one of her albums in? I was thinking My Best Friend Is You this time, and I promise I'll actually remember to vote for it.

  11. I just finished my GLOW re-watch so I might have to do this!

Some album FYCs for No Big Releases October...

    Des'ree's album deserves note
    Especially since she won't promote
I'll be giving it a vote
    Ooh I get the shivers

Quirky electronic pop with a retro twist.

Sadgirl electropop, but actually really interesting. It's not just a white girl murmuring over some finger snaps I promise.

Very HAIM-ish folk-pop from my neck of the woods. Please give them a shot because our biggest export right now is racist Apprentice contestants.
  13. You’ll really have to twist my arm to throw this masterpiece some points....

That said, just due to some of the releases I’m setting aside prime points for this month (Maisie, Tegan & Sara, etc) I might not be able to throw her as many points this month as I did Made Of Bricks a couple months back ... but I will definitely give her points!
  14. Hope we're all voting for Niall Horan's absolute BOP:

Some other great songs for your consideration:

No big releases October - are there really any big releases left for the rest of the year (outside of Kpop)? FKA twigs and Celine are the only ones I can think of right now.
  16. Allegedly Adele, Rihanna, Dua Lipa and Camila Cabello are all releasing by the end of the year but that remains to be seen...
Music Is Death and Slice of Life like this.
  17. Verite and Ella Henderson both have EPs coming out soon --

Camila's recent material has been surprisingly good lately - I didn't care for most of her first album, but her last few singles have been great. Plus I kinda love how unabashedly campy her videos and performances have gotten.

  18. ExCUSE me? King Princess' debut album Cheap Queen will be available on your streaming platform of choice on October 25. Support queer excellence this month, voters.

Something for the little Didonsters: Dido and her brother Rollo (from Faithless) have released a collaborative album.
