Older albums you're loving today.

Sharpe & Numan were great. Those are solid pop records. You sort of expect the Automatic album to be a bit shit, but it's not.

Of course "Change your mind" started the collaboration in 1985 and still sounds great!

I still can’t believe this wasn’t a hit. How did the masses sleep on this? She even made Madonna and Patrick Leonard’s song her own.

 

The public was living seperate lives to her!

 

Marilyn Martin was gorgeous. Probably still is!

 

According to her Wikipedia, she still tours with Stevie Nicks and also performed back-up vocals for the Fleetwood Mac 2019 tour. She works as a real estate agent in Nashville.

Seems like an ideal life to me.

 

I feel like this album is often forgotten but I love bopping to it in the summer

 

FINALLY on streaming! A very underrated mid 80s album from the legend that is (Dame) Oliva Newton-John.

 

Nice to have Toughen Up at a volume you can actually hear now!

Mmm that's versatile!

Brilliant album, all the singles are bops (particularly Self!) and Irish Bride is a thing of beauty.
