I think the general negativity, in my case anyway, is that Years and Years produced such great and promising material and we assumed that would carry through to his solo stuff. And it’s all been reduced to…not very good music.

We’re not coming in here to hate for no reason. We’re still trying to be fans!

I like the production across everything we've heard so far. Even if the songs aren't quite landing for me, it feels like Olly has more up his sleeve than he did for Night Call (although that album's title track will be hard to top).

I really like this and kinda wish it was a full song. And it's a pretty cool visual. It also leads nicely into Cupid's Bow.

He's said that Polari (the track) is a mixture of sounds that will be on the album, so it's definitely made me more excited for the album.

Cupid’s Bow is great. Polari is an ok intro but a strange lead and just kinda nothing and way too short.

Looking forward to the album. I get Darren Hayes / Popular solo vibes.

Don’t agree the forum is doing a pile on apart from the fashion related posts. I think those cross the line of being constructive vs mean.

Polari is the first decent song he has put out in yearsandyears. This gay was listening to Janet and it shows!

I still find quite funny how... inept he is on the visuals department. He tries so hard to serve artsy f*g but 90% of his videos, photshoots, artworks and fashion choices are trash.
