Oscar Bait 2022 - 2023

Don’t Worry Darling is a total stinker… I can feel it in my bones… I know it… I know it

Whenver I see the trailer I’m just amazed by how they literally show Harry speak two words of dialogue for the entire thing when he’s one of the biggest draws for audiences to even see it and how painfully obvious that makes it that he can’t act and they had to conceal it.
It’s just The Stepford Wives without the camp. No thanks.

Another slay for Olivia.

Set in the English seaside in the ‘80s, Empire Of Light follows two people, Hilary and Stephen, as they enter a taboo relationship while working together in the local theater. Hilary, played by Oscar-winner Olivia Colman, seeks escapism from a troubled past. Meanwhile, Stephen, played by Michael Ward, is constantly confronted with the racism which plagues the small town. Together, they find solace in one another and in film and quietly begin a touching romance.

The fact that he's the leading role in an entire other feature film this season the press cycle for which already has him giving plenty of people bad tastes in their mouths...

I'm not expecting Ms Styles to get out of this alive without being drawn and quartered by critics
God I read what he said about the policeman movie being a “human story” and not a gay one. Like fuck all the way off. I’m exhausted by him!!

I seriously doubt Miss Flo Queen Florence is even going to show up at the Venice premiere now - and honestly, who can blame her? These latest revelations are so very disappointing. She deserves better.

I'm ready

A trailer that doesn't give the entire plot of the movie away beforehand? In 2022? Now that's groundbreaking.

I have no idea what the F is going to happen but it feels right up my street nonetheless. V. v. exciting to see not just Cate Blanchett but also the formidable Nina Hoss. BRING IT.
